Paul Pearson
With a distinguished career spanning senior management, public relations, and communications, I have dedicated over two decades to delivering excellence in event management, brand partnerships, and strategic fundraising on an international scale. My journey has been marked by a passion for connecting people, building brands, and creating impactful experiences that leave a lasting legacy.
I began my career in senior hotel management, where I honed my skills in sales, marketing, and guest relations as part of the UK’s first-ever guest relations team for Marriott Hotels. This foundation led me to roles within Royal Households and charitable organisations, including serving as a private secretary and press secretary. Notably, I worked with the Prince’s Youth Business Trust, which later amalgamated into the Prince’s Trust, a pivotal moment that inspired me to establish my own public relations firm, Pearson Communications Ltd.
Over the course of a decade, Pearson Communications became synonymous with high-profile events, luxury brands, and philanthropic initiatives. My portfolio included clients such as Hurtwood Park Polo Club, The African Caribbean Business Network, The London Community Gospel Choir, and iconic personalities like Naomi Campbell and Mica Paris. I also had the privilege of working with prestigious brands such as Bulgari, Boucheron, Asprey, and KRUG Champagne, as well as organising the launch of Versace’s first UK flagship store.
One of my proudest achievements was the creation of the Memorial Gates on Birdcage Walk, London, a lasting tribute to the service men and women from Africa, the Caribbean, and India. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II laid the foundation stone at an event I orchestrated, a moment that remains a career highlight. Additionally, I organised annual charity polo days attended by HRH Prince Charles and Prince Harry, securing significant sponsorship and media coverage for worthy causes.
In recent years, I have transitioned into consultancy, leveraging my extensive network and expertise to deliver bespoke projects for a diverse range of clients. These include a biotech company for which I secured £100 million in post-IPO investment, the founder of a UK digital banking platform, and a leading payment gateway. I also represent a privately funded investment platform in the renewable energy sector and am spearheading the introduction of affordable, sustainable modular homes to the UK market.
My work extends to supporting high-net-worth individuals, including heads of state and their families. A recent project involved the Prime Minister of Mauritius, and I am currently focused on a special initiative in Egypt. In 2020, I played a key role in securing a $4 billion credit line for a private banking client through an introduction to a sovereign wealth fund. Since January 2025, I have been collaborating with a Egyptian business consortium introducing high street brands that would be keen to be walked through into the opening up of multibillion Egyptian market. It is also a sense of pride that the biotech company is using the 100M credit line I secured
Philanthropy remains a cornerstone of my career. I have worked closely with Films Without Borders, collaborating with the Earl of Wessex at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. I have also had the honour of being part of the organising committee when the Duke of Edinburgh interviewed George Lucas and Whoopi Goldberg live on stage, as well as producing a cashmere fashion show at Lancaster House for the official visit of the President of Mongolia.
Known for my ability to bring together experts and build cohesive teams, I thrive on delivering successful outcomes for complex projects. Whether it’s securing investment, expanding brand reach, or creating unforgettable events, my mission is to drive impact and innovation in every endeavour.
